Packages failing to build with GCC 14

This ticket attempts to list some of the packages that have failed to build with gcc 14.2 in edge and will be updated if/as more are found. Items marked confirmed were reported by others and error reproduced. Items checked have been fixed. Feel to edit the list.

2024-10-30: there is currently a potential gcc 14 issue on 32-bit ARM involving a false warning for unused values that will trigger build failure if -Werror is enabled. Affected aports:
