According to the FHS /var is meant for variable data which by definition
files installed by the package manager are not.

This is a special case exception to our rule of not managing services
through apk, in order to save users from being locked out of their
systems in case of

1. Connection issues during upgrade
2. Not properly reading our release notes or blog post on the matter
3. Forgetting about it
4. By accident or other, not managing to take neccessary precautions

It's maintainer has been inactive for 2 years and is not responding to
any pings

According to the FHS /var is meant for "variable" data which files

It seems the software actually expects it all to be in /var so for now
we're symlinking it back, but at least now there are just directories
and symlinks there and the actual files are where they belong in /usr

do separate builds of usbguard without and with dbus & polkit support
