According to contrib/DEPENDENCY_INFO.md

FANN support is deprecated since 1.7 (replaced by Lua Torch) and
not built by default anyway.

It's init/rc system's job to daemonize process and drop privileges!

It should provide better performance etc.

makedepends and subpackages are just reformatted and sorted

To avoid silent breakages.

Also fix the default_prepare invocation while at it. Applying patches
wouldn't have worked previously, which isn't a big deal since we didn't
apply any patches anyhow.

This is a good example why modifications of upstream configs have
to be done in explicit way using patch file instead of using sed.
Upstream changed the config, sed silently "failed" (no match)
and no one noticed.

patch was sent upstream but was never included by upstream.
