@TBK @Cogitri Question was asked by you as part of !7795 (merged) to add check(). This is a stab at executing make check. It will not execute all tests available in the upstream package, which is controlled by what packages are provided in checkdepends. So not complete test coverage, but a good portion. Should be a step in the right direction.

check() depends on packages [still] in testing repo: !7860 (merged), !7928 (merged), !7929 (merged) and !7934 (merged).
