Hi!

This is the same codebase as victoria-metrics, but for logs.

If it's the same source, does it maybe make sense to also build in the same package?

Upstream provides different source archives for all variants (single-node, cluster, metrics, logs). At least versions are different. I saw lead dev mention somewhere (hn or reddit) they might merge metrics/logs releases after code churn gets lower.

What is that for? I see no comment or other packages with that name.

I did the same in victoriametrics, cuz their repo is called VictoriaMetrics, while binary is victoria-metrics
