I emailed the maintainer 10 days ago on the 8th of December, but have not heard back so far.

Anyway, i have already adopted a few of their aports in !54329 (merged), and here i adopt the rest, as perl-anyevent-future that i maintain requires perl-test-timer from this MR as checkdepends.

I have also enabled perl-sys-syscall on all architectures with the help of patches from Debian.
