          pamstack: fix bug: acts like -firstmaxval specified when it
          wasn't.  Introduced in Netpbm 11.03 (June 2023).

          pamstack: fix -lcmmaxval: chooses wrong maxval.  Always
          broken (-lcmmaxval was new in Netpbm 11.03 (June 2023)).
