all the code is still there, but you can't build it without patching that back. i guess then they don't want you to use it.

the python module also just installs a

+usr/lib/mavis/mavis.py
+usr/lib/mavis/mavis_tacplus_demo.py
+usr/lib/mavis/mavis_tacplus_ldap.py

not sure if this is useful at all or not, and it's not in the correct place even..
