firefox in alpine stable is 2 versions behind the major release. Upgrades in testing being held up because of dependencies (!29419 (closed)). Since web browsers are massive attack vector, this is not acceptable. Since we cannot support firefox for > 6 months, we should not advise stable users to install it. Stable users will still have firefox-esr, qutebrowser, chromium, etc.
