lxc-attach works different as expected
When using LXC on an Alpine Linux host, lxc-attach
works different
than in other distributions.
So when you attach to a container with lxc-attach
, it seems that you
only get a chrooted shell, so you can’t see any other processes running
in the container.
On other distributions like Debian or Ubuntu, you can see running
processes when connecting with lxc-attach
and e.g. run top
. I’m not
quite sure, but I think these distros cause lxc-attach
to attach to
the container namespaces by default.
