php7-redis 3.1.2-r0 seems to be broken
I have a php application I am running in an alpine 3.4 docker image. I
just tried to rebuild the image and it seems that since the recent
php7-redis update I receive the following error upon starting up apache
or the php cli ‘PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
’/usr/lib/php7/modules/redis.so’ - Error loading shared library
/usr/lib/php7/modules/redis.so: No such file or directory in Unknown on
line 0’. I am familiar with this error because the most recent updates
for the php7* packages have caused this. My usual solution is to pin
myself to the version I was running previously. However, this did not
work because I cannot find php7-redis-3.0.0-r1 which was the version
that was working properly for me. I also tried to symlink the redis.so
file to the correct location and then I recieve this error ’PHP Warning:
PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
’/usr/lib/php7/modules/redis.so’ Error relocating
/usr/lib/php7/modules/redis.so: php_var_unserialize_init: symbol not
found in Unknown on line 0’. I am more than happy to help for a fix or
if this is something on my end would greatly appreciate some help.
