uwsgi package seems to be built without support for json config files.
~ # cat /etc/alpine-release 3.5.2 ~ #
~ # apk info uwsgi
uwsgi-2.0.14-r4 description:

uwsgi-2.0.14-r4 installed size:

I’m using uwsgi today on Ubuntu and I’m able to pass in my config using
the “—json” flag.
When I attempt to launch uwsgi in Alpine I get the following:
# uwsgi --json /etc/uwsgi/uwsgi.json
uwsgi: unrecognized option: json
getopt_long() error
~ #
On my existing ubuntu system:
# uwsgi --help |grep '\--json'
-j|--json load config from json file
In Alpine 3.5 get no option:
~ # uwsgi --help |grep '\--json'
~ #
The latest uwsgi docs show that this is still a supported option for passing in your config file:
http://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Configuration.html\#loading-configuration-files
I can only guess that a build dependency might be missing to enable json config file support?
