Please enable CONFIG_CROS_KBD_LED_BACKLIGHT for the -grsec kernel
CONFIG_CROS_KBD_LED_BACKLIGHT is needed to be able to toggle the keyboard back-light on Chromebooks running Alpine Linux ;-)
