kernel shipped with alpine-2.1.0 fails to boot son some hardware
When booting 2.1.0 my box ends up in a endless loop.
I am able to enter kernel boot options, but short after that the box
just dies and reboots.
After some debugging it turns out ‘grsec acpi=off’ solves the issues and the box boots up as expected.
For now I just edited ‘syslinux.cfg’ and added acpi=off in the kernel
boot options on my USBmem. That way I can boot with the USBmem at
least.
But if using the CD i am forced to type ‘grsec acpi=off’ each time I
want to boot.
