Alpine 3.17 doesn't boot with i486 CPU
Alpine 3.17 can't be booted in QEMU with the 486 CPU - it now causes an Illegal Instruction error. This was working in 3.16.3
I don't know if this is an intentional change, but I could find no reference to the change anywhere, so I assume it was accidental.
This can be reproduced as follows:
qemu-system-i386 -cpu 486 -cdrom alpine-standard-3.17.0-x86.iso -boot d -m 256
The output after the ISOLINUX prompt is:
Illegal Instruction
grep: /sysroot/etc/inittab: No such file or directory
/sbin/init not found in new root. Launching emergency recovery shell
Type exit to continue boot.
sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
/ #
It boots OK when changing the CPU to pentium (i586).
