[diskless mode] deleted files from installed packages keep coming back after reboot
On diskless system (3.16 and earlier), one may wish to delete unwanted files that are installed by default by some apk package.
(For exemple /etc/acpi/handler.sh
or /etc/acpi/events/anything
from community/acpid
, and replace with some alternatives tailor-made)
Once those deleted, and after lbu commit -d
then reboot
, original files just come back again & again...
No way to get rid of them: the only workaround is to modify original files (but keep names): those modifications would stick.
Doesn't apkovl
file keep track of such deleted files as overlayfs whiteouts?
