- modplug has not been used since [0] over 8 years ago
- libvorbis has not been used since at least git conversion in 2010.
  vorbis-tools is used for some auxiliary scripts
- xf86dga has not been used since at least git conversion in 2010

Upgrading to rc1 as this version brings many improvements
and does not seem to add new bugs. Last release is 2 years old.

This patch is scheduled for 2.0.4 and without it logs are full of
warnings about not being able to initialize gettext/locale. This commit
backports it 2.0.3.
