tar: allow for space as numeric field terminator

as per pax specification numeric fields should be terminated by either null-bytes or spaces:

Each numeric field is terminated by one or more or NUL characters.

currently get_octal supports only null bytes, which makes it incompatible with some tar implementations, like artifactory's
