Support for faster TCP/HTTP timeout on stale network
Hello,
It seems apk update, at least on alpine 3.16, has no timeout at all. When the targeted mirror is down, it just keeps trying to get the APKINDEX.tar.gz forever.
The man-page says the command has no option. If it is not feasible to add a "--timeout" option, would it be at least possible to set a decent internal timeout (< 5min)? As is, when the system's automatically upgraded during the boot, you end with a de facto frozen box.
