setup-disk problem for sys install to multiple disks
Tested on versions 3.0.0 rc1 and 3.0.0 stable. Issue does not occur with
single disk install, only with multiple disk install (and therefore
RAID); same error whether two or more disks used. Same error whether or
not repo is configured (i.e kernel update doesn’t seem to help, 3.14.4
result same as 3.14.5 and greater).
Also tested on both Vmware server and VirtualBox with the same
behaviour.
At install with setup-disk, everything looks normal until the end:
==> initramfs: creating /boot/initramfs-grsec
6894 blocks
/lib/modules/3.14.4-0-grsec/kernel/drivers/block/cpqarray*: No such file or directory. Skipped
32180 block
/boot is device /dev/md0
After reboot, we get the usual syslinux countdown screen and then:
Mounting root failed.
initramfs emergency recovery shell launched. Type 'exit' to continue boot
sh:can't access tty; job control turned off
Typing ‘exit’ leads to kernel panic as per screenshot.
