Missed fixes from apk commandline tools
In this project, we have some DBus calls that very closely mimic the behavior or APK CLI commands, like AddPackage
or DeletePackage
. When this project was started, I assume @Cogitri had a look a the original code for the CLI, and re-implemented it in Rust. That has served well, but recently a couple of those commands got fixes related to the provides that we have missed. To fix those, one option is to play catch-up with apk-tools, but that's probably not great in the long-term. So I was thinking if there might be some option to convince upstream to put a big chunk of those into the library, so that we can avoid doing re-implementations. @Cogitri, is that something that makes sense to you?
