save last message and prevent add duplicates. This may happen when
connection is lost and reconnection gives same retained message.

don't rotate activity column if message was an error.

to improve readability

don't keep more than the last error only.

we reset error message with a null message. clear error url in the last
error column when that happens.

port 443 does not work at all.
