/init doesn't respect all options in /etc/fstab
I haven’t looked to see if any other options are affected, but fmask and dmask for fat volumes aren’t applied properly. I think it has to do with lines 592-598:
- respect mount options in fstab for ALPINE_MNT (e.g if user wants
rw)
if [ -f “$sysroot”/etc/fstab ]; then
opts=$(awk “\$2 == \”$ALPINE_MNT\" {print \$4}"
$sysroot/etc/fstab)
if [ -n “$opts” ]; then
mount -o remount,$opts “$ALPINE_MNT”
fi
fi
When mount
remounts and is given different options for fmask/dmask,
they dont take effect. I’m observing this happening on an rpi3 but I
would imagine it’s universal.
