Alpine-vserver-2.0.0-x86.iso won't boot
The syslinux.cfg file on the vserver iso file lists:
default grsec
label vserver
kernel /boot/vserver
but since there is no “grsec” label, the boot process can’t find a kernel to boot. (Yes, you can type in the label by hand, but that’s not very user friendly)
Suggest changing “default grsec” to “default vserver”
