clang 3.2-r2 doesn't find linker on x86_64
I noticed a few weeks ago our build of clang wouldn’t link properly, and I submitted a patch, which was applied: http://git.alpinelinux.org/cgit/aports/commit/?id=fcc3343824cf767f0c245a71e491006902604a59
Unfortunately, that patch only fixes x86, it’s a bit broken for x86_64 (it assumes the linker is under /lib64 not /lib where it really is).
This is an easy fix. Am just recompiling now on x86_64 to verify, then will post the patch.
