edge/linux-vanilla: CONFIG_EDAC_DEBUG=y spams kernel ring buffer
Whenever the ie31200_edac module is loaded, it repeatedly outputs the line "EDAC DEBUG: ie31200_check: MC0" into the kernel ring buffer, to the point where it completely fills the buffer within a few minutes. I presume it's the same for other edac drivers but I can't test that. The messages are generated because CONFIG_EDAC_DEBUG is set in the kernel compile options.
Workaround: Echoing a debug level (0-4) to /sys/module/edac_core/parameters/edac_debug_level
I suggest unsetting CONFIG_EDAC_DEBUG since the default behaviour makes the kernel ring buffer virtually unusable.
