Zmodem support lrzsz package
Hi,
for quick file transfers, without the need to use scp/sftp/rsyn, one can
just connect to an ssh session with putty/securecrt/ssh or other
terminals to a different machine, and receive a file by using sz
or rz , without leaving the terminal. That’s secure and very
smooth, no need to authenticate yourself a second time, no second
session. For this you need to have lrzsz installed, which is free SW
(GPL 2).
Please provide a package for this.
Here are some links:
Centos RPM:

Debian RPM: https://packages.debian.org/stretch/lrzsz
Github: https://github.com/jnavila/lrzsz
Not very popular today, but I think, thats only because many don’t know about. I’d suggest you to try it on Debian/Centos if you don’t believe me! ;)
Here a “screenshot” :
root@XXXXXXX:/phion0/tmp]# sz XXXXXXX_zeedonk_logs080318.tgz
rz

It was then saved in my DL folder, I only had to enter a single command!
Thanks & Regards
