R-dev don't support build pakages which requires the C++11
Hi.
I tried the R package and faced with some problems.
I can’t install packages with the CXX_STD = CXX11 directive in the
src/Makevars.
Steps to reproduce:
# add repos
echo '@edge http://nl.alpinelinux.org/alpine/edge/main' >> /etc/apk/repositories
echo '@testing http://nl.alpinelinux.org/alpine/edge/testing' >> /etc/apk/repositories
# install deps
apk add --no-cache musl-dev g++
# install R
apk add --no-cache R@testing R-doc@testing R-dev@testing
# install R-package
Rscript -e 'install.packages("exif", repos = c(CRAN = "http://cloud.r-project.org/"))'
In result, I got the following error:
/usr/include/c++/5.3.0/bits/c++0x_warning.h:32:2: error: #error This file requires compiler and library support for the ISO C++ 2011 standard. This support is currently experimental, and must be enabled with the -std=c++11 or -std=gnu++11 compiler options.
#error This file requires compiler and library support for the \
Also I observed that /etc/R/Rprofile.site file ignored when the R-session started.
