Permissions issue in Bacula scripts
Hi,
just encountered this
Run Backup job JobName: BackupCatalog Level: Full Client: my-fd FileSet: Catalog Pool: DefaultPool (From Job resource) Storage: PrimaryFileStorage (From Job resource) When: 2016-06-05 17:03:59 Priority: 11 OK to run? (yes/mod/no): yes Job queued. JobId=31930 *mess 05-Jun 17:04 my-dir JobId 31930: shell command: run BeforeJob "/etc/bacula/scripts/make_catalog_backup.pl MyCatalog" 05-Jun 17:04 my-dir JobId 31930: BeforeJob: sh: /usr/sbin/dbcheck: Permission denied 05-Jun 17:04 my-dir JobId 31930: BeforeJob: Can't find your catalog (MyCatalog) in director configuration 05-Jun 17:04 my-dir JobId 31930: Error: Runscript: BeforeJob returned non-zero status=1. ERR=Child exited with code
I changed the permissions on the dbcheck script:
chgrp bacula /usr/sbin/dbcheck
That seems to have sorted it out.
