Privacy and security patches for Chromium
Security and keeping things simple are the 2 most relevant things I see
on Alpine Linux.
Because of that, I believe it would be interested to patch Chromium in
order to remove all unnecessary things that either clutter it up or pose
risks to users’ privacy.
Chromium is open-source, but tightly integrated into Google.
The current Chromium package on Alpine Linux presents Google’s Instant
Extended API, Google Now, Google Feedback, Cloud Print, Google Hangout,
URLTracker data transmission, Google Cloud Messaging,
google-ipv6-probes, RLZ Identifier, and many more.
I believe removing all this would make Chromium not only more efficient
(less is more) but also improve its security to users.
A good starting point would be the Inox patches provided here:

Some ideas could also be got form Iridium: https://iridiumbrowser.de/
