busybox: ifupdown: does not support inet6 "manual" method
I’ve reported and posted a patch upstream:
https://bugs.busybox.net/show\_bug.cgi?id=2497
Having busybox support the inet6 manual method will allow us to cleanly support IPv6 Static Address Configuration when a router’s Router Advertisements (RAs) is enabled.
I’ll go ahead and update the wiki page ( at http://www.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Configure\_Networking ) as if support were already there, and just leave a note about it until the patch is officially or locally merged.
