Xorg - Cirrus (KVM) video driver broken
This bug appeared in 3.1 (3.0 did not have this problem):
[ 53.524] (==) Matched cirrus as autoconfigured driver 0 [ 53.524] (==) Matched cirrus as autoconfigured driver 1 [ 53.524] (==) Matched modesetting as autoconfigured driver 2 [ 53.524] (==) Matched fbdev as autoconfigured driver 3 [ 53.524] (==) Matched vesa as autoconfigured driver 4 [ 53.524] (==) Assigned the driver to the xf86ConfigLayout [ 53.524] (II) LoadModule: "cirrus" [ 53.525] (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/cirrus_drv.so [ 53.525] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/cirrus_drv.so: Error relocating /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/cirrus_drv.so: AlpProbe: symbol not found [ 53.525] (II) UnloadModule: "cirrus" [ 53.525] (II) Unloading cirrus [ 53.525] (EE) Failed to load module "cirrus" (loader failed, 7)
I also noticed no software rendering available (but perhaps this was disabled in 3.1 which is why this Xorg error in KVM suddenly showed up ?):
