dhcpd ignoring specified listening interface
Hello to all,
I’m having what seems to be a bug on the dhcpd package on Alpine.
I configure my /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf and it works.
There is only one problem , i need to listen only to one interface
(eth1), I update my file /etc/conf.d/dhcpd
The parameter is : DHCPD_IFACE=“eth1” (all rest keeps commented).
At restart the dhcpd always binds to 0.0.0.0 here is the netstat output :
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:bootps 0.0.0.0:* 11285/dhcpd
At launch of the init script for dhcpd, the DHCPD_IFACE parameter is correclty passed :
/usr/sbin/dhcpd -cf /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf -q -pf /var/run/dhcp/dhcpd.pid -lf /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases -user dhcp -group dhcp eth1
Did a fail something ?
Regards,
Nicolas
