[mdadm] - unavailable partitions in a raid device
For some (weird) reason, my raid0 partitions (md0p[1,2]) only “wakes
up” when an ‘open’ syscall is made on md0 device.
To circumvent this, I add “mdadm —query /dev/md0 >/dev/null” command
in mdadm-raid init script and it’s ok. But I think this is a bug…
How to reproduce:
- Make a raid0 setup (I have only 2 hdds);
- Save the configs with lbu
- Reboot
What I expect:
My raid partitions ready to go.
What I have:
Nothing but my raid device (/dev/md0).
If I try to mount md0p[1,2]: “no such file or directory”
