Package Information
- Package name:
linux-lts
- Package version: linux-lts-6.6.31-r0
- Alpine version: 3.20.0
- Alpine architecture: x86_64
Summary
Realtek RT35XX USB wifi adapters are excluded (why tho?) when building the RT2800USB driver. Forcing the device to use RT2800USB driver will make it works.
Steps to reproduce
- Install a fresh alpine system.
- Install
iwd
,linux-firmware
- Plug the USB wifi adapter in, in my case a RT3572L one, watching the device get recognized in
dmesg
but without a driver. -
iwd
doesn't shows the device. - Forcing the driver onto the device, and now
iwd
shows the device.
