unable to install pandoc

Error msg:

ERROR: unable to select packages:
  so:libffi.so.7 (no such package):
    required by: pandoc-2.14.2-r1[so:libffi.so.7]

the current version of libffi only contains libffi.so.8.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
