git-lfs: backwards incompatible change in 3.0 introduces issues with older servers
Upgrading git-lfs to 3.0.1+ results in errors when cloning / updating LFS enabled projects due to incomaptible changes. These errors cannot be worked around, so upgrading git-lfs effectivly breaks working with these repositories.
For example, using the current git-lfs
aport you cannot pull from atlassian bitbucket servers if it is on version 7.16.0 or lower (released 31 August 2021, BSERV-12989).
The upgrade was done with 44610088 and 1dbb9261, both should be reverted. I suggest rolling git-lfs back to 2.13 for the alpine 3.15 release. This way, the git server operators out there have time to upgrade their servers until alpine 3.16 release.
