Unable to to use wireless device - Raspberry Pi 4

Unable to install Alpine.

I am not certain where the actual issue lies. I have a 3.12 install running kernel 5.4.43-0-rpi4 which was working fine. I was experiencing issues with a wireless USB kb/ms receiver and commented on the issue on GitHub. This was resolved and patched. I installed RaspberyPi OS on a seperate SD card to receive firmware updates and the bootloader. However, since doing so I have been unable to use either my previous Alpine install or install it at all.

Alpine 3.12 kernel 5.4.43-0-rpi4

  • Starting WPA Supplicant ...
  • Starting netwokring ...
  • lo ...
  • wlan0 ... ip: ioctl 0x8913 failed: No such device
  • Could not find a wireless interface

Alpine 3.13.1 kernel 5.10.11-0-rpi4 setup-alpine script runs as per normal. wlan0 is listed as an interface available to be initialized. The scan for available networks reveals my network SSID. After opting for dhcp the prompt returns to asking for a interface to be initialized and states that eth0 is the only available interface, udhcpc then fails to obtain an IP address.

Additionally, further through the install, no available disks are found.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
