Root not mounting with fstab options
I prefer to use noatime for all of my filesystems, but root is the only one I couldn't get to mount with noatime. It seems to be mounting with default mount options and ignores /etc/fstab. I haven't changed much from the default LVM install, and I'm having this issue on both of my servers.
root@oc0:~$ grep root /etc/fstab
/dev/mapper/vg0-lv_root / ext4 rw,noatime 0 1
root@oc0:~$ grep root /proc/mounts
/dev/mapper/vg0-lv_root / ext4 rw,relatime,stripe=256 0 0
From my grub.cfg if it helps:
root@oc0:~$ grep root /boot/grub/grub.cfg | grep linux
linux /boot/vmlinuz-virt root=/dev/mapper/vg0-lv_root ro modules=sd-mod,usb-storage,ext4 quiet rootfstype=ext4
