keyboard configuration from setup-alpine does not survive the reboot
During install (
setup-alpine) they selected keyboard will not be configured after the final reboot.
Steps to reproduce:
- boot alpine in a vm
- run setup-alpine
- select a keyboard layout (for example
no nofor norweigan)
sysinstall to disk
After the reboot the selected keyboard is not configured anymore.
My guess is that it is due to commit 05ece0ad.
setup-keymap script should be adjusted.
I also think that the post-upgrade script should take care of transfer the configuration rather than just display a message:
* * The OpenRC keymaps service was renamed to loadkmap. You might want * to rename your previous configuration file /etc/conf.d/keymaps to * /etc/conf.d/loadkamp. Also make sure that /etc/init.d/keymaps was * removed and remove it manually if it wasn't. *
