keyboard configuration from setup-alpine does not survive the reboot
During install (setup-alpine
) they selected keyboard will not be configured after the final reboot.
Steps to reproduce:
- boot alpine in a vm
- run setup-alpine
- select a keyboard layout (for example
no no
for norweigan) - do
sys
install to disk - reboot
After the reboot the selected keyboard is not configured anymore.
My guess is that it is due to commit 05ece0ad.
The setup-keymap
script should be adjusted.
I also think that the post-upgrade script should take care of transfer the configuration rather than just display a message:
*
* The OpenRC keymaps service was renamed to loadkmap. You might want
* to rename your previous configuration file /etc/conf.d/keymaps to
* /etc/conf.d/loadkamp. Also make sure that /etc/init.d/keymaps was
* removed and remove it manually if it wasn't.
