Changing the shell to BASH fixes this substitution error - but setting
the home directory for the dnscrypt user in the pre-install script is
also broken in MUSL
Under uclibc the dnscrypt user is set as:
uclibc [~/aports/testing/dnscrypt-proxy]$ cat /etc/passwd|grep dnscrypt
dnscrypt:x:100:65533:dnscrypt:/var/empty:/sbin/nologin
but under musl it becomes:
musl [/var/log/dnscrypt-proxy]$ cat /etc/passwd|grep dnscrypt
dnscrypt:x:101:102:Linux User,,,:/home/dnscrypt:/bin/false
(so the chroot fails & dnscrypt does not start)

controller.
The memory controller isolates the memory behavior of a group of tasks
from the rest of the system.
Setting this option increases fixed memory overhead associated with each
page of memory in the system. To retain the old behavior, the cgroup
memory controller should be disabled by default by setting the kernel
boot parameter “cgroup\_disable=memory”, which will avoid these
overheads.
Kernel configuration to enable it:
a. Enable CONFIG\_CGROUPS
b. Enable CONFIG\_RESOURCE\_COUNTERS
c. Enable CONFIG\_MEMCG
d. Enable CONFIG\_MEMCG\_SWAP (to use swap extension)
d. Enable CONFIG\_MEMCG\_KMEM (to use kmem extension)

I’m running edge.
Unbound fails to start; testing it with -dvvvvvvv reports:
\[1425817029\] unbound\[9193:0\] notice: Start of unbound 1.5.1.
\[1425817029\] unbound\[9...I’ve not seen this elsewhere. It seems to be specific to alpine.

Ahh. Searching further I found this patch:
https://www.nlnetlabs.nl/bugs-script/attachment.cgi?id=269
and a note suggesting that 1.5.2 does not need the patch, so upgrading
edge from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 also should fix this.
I haven’t delved into you packaging enough to find which needs a diff to
fix this….
