so:libx264.so.142
Those versions are respectively provided by the packages:
libvpx-1.4.0-r1
x264-libs-20140625-r0
which are both absent from 3.3, but present in 3.2.
The package should ideally be upgraded to depend on current versions of
the dependencies.
As a side note, creating a symlink /usr/lib/libvpx.so.2 ->
libvpx.so.3 is sufficient for the libvpx, but this workaround cannot be
applied to the libx264.so.142 since this version of mplayer has
\`x264\_encoder\_open\_142\` in its dynamic symbol table (and that
function is absent from the current version of the library).
The current workaround is as follow:
1. Define
`` oldstable `http://<mirror>.alpinelinux.org/alpine/v3.2/main` in your `/etc/apk/repositories file`.
# Fetch the current mplayer package
# Edit the .PKGINFO in the package to replace `libvpx.so.2` by `libvpx.so.3`
# Install x264-libs ``oldstable
2. Install the mplayer package (with —allow-untrusted)
3. Create a symlink /usr/lib/libvpx.so.2 ->libvpx.so.3

Since, AFAIK, it’s only an optimization and not fixing anything, I
removed it.

I had not experienced this problem in xen 4.7.2-r0 from v3.5.
After examining the resolving of Bug \#5768 I understand that the
problem
is caused by upgrading qemu-xen from 2.4.1 (in xen 4.7.2) to 2.7.0

I was able to resolve this issue by adding configure-ifunc.patch

main/xen and rebuilding xen with `abuild`.
Are you planning to add this patch to xen 4.8.1?

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library

I also got the same error with php-gd but this could be fixed by doing
“apk upgrade -U -a” before using php.
Here is how to reproduce it:
`docker run --rm -it alpine:edge sh -c "apk add -q -U php7 php7-pdo_mysql && php7 -r 'echo true;'"`
