On the new release 3.12.0 bitcoind does not work out of the box: "what(): locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid".
Though if I run it with "LANG=C bitcoind" it will start.
Meanwhile I put "export LANG=C" to /etc/con...Hello!

Upd from June 9:
After some investigation allowing LANG in /etc/rc.conf solved the problem:
